Jimmy : What do you think is the biggest/most frequent misperception of you, from people who don't know you, i.e. fans, the media?
Juliana: Some people seem to think I have no sense of humor but really I'm a big goofball.
Jimmy: When you look back over your career which albums are you most/least happy with now?
Juliana: I'm proud of all of my albums in different ways. They are all like children of mine. I can't choose favorites. That being said, it is really hard to listen to the old Blake Babies albums, because I sound so tortured and intense.
Jimmy: Who is Juliana Hatfield? With your blogs and upcoming memoir, noted to dispel any and all rumors -- is there anything else you'd like to let people in on/let people know about yourself?
Juliana: I'd just like people to know how grateful and amazed I am that I have had such a long career. I am happy that my loyal fans keep supporting me.
Jimmy: You described your album, Bed, as your, "I hate the music industry" album. Have your thoughts towards the industry changed in the past 10 years?
Juliana: I have a lot of friends in the industry. When I was writing Bed, I had just been dropped from Atlantic Records and I was feeling a bit battered and unappreciated, and Bed reflected that. The album is a snapshot of one small moment in time. There are wonderful, good people working in the industry, and there is wonderful music being made.
