Ben Roethlisberger Walks Free AGAIN…

...College Girls Everywhere Continue Hiding!

My friend, comdian John McIntire, just posted an interview he did with Dr. Cyril Wecht on his website: http://www.macyapper.blogspot.com/ concerning the latest sexual assault case brought against Roethlisberger by a young woman from Atlanta, Georgia that has been dropped, this time due to ‘insufficient evidence.’ I say “this time” because this guy has been in trouble before for sexual assault allegations brought against him by women.

District Attorney, Fred Bright, said questions still persist about what happened that fateful night, March 5, between Ben and a 20-year-old female student in a bathroom at the Capital City nightclub, but was dropped on Sunday, emphasizing that the accuser did not want the case prosecuted. She had reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Ben to a patrol officer and was taken immediately to a local hospital and was examined.

What has happened since has been nothing short of disturbing. The girl was harassed at her school for bringing a case against this football giant, and she didn’t want to continue the embarrassment by having to disclose personal information up there on the witness stand in testifying against him, considering her blood alcohol level at the time of the attack was three times the legal limit (and she is underage, which makes it even worse for her).

What many people may not know is that the young woman suffered lacerations to her vagina that were discovered during the exam. As you watch the video, Dr. Wecht explains that these kinds of cuts would only happen in cases of sexual violence and forcible intercourse. There was a small amount of DNA given by Ben that should have been enough to get a comparative sample and figure out what the hell happened, but apparently it came down to the fact that the girl wanted to drop the case and move on with her life.

Which is, of course, really sad and disturbing, but not surprising. Why is it the victims of sexual abuse are always put on the defensive? This has happened before, and now it will seemingly happen again.

In fact, McIntire reports that on Tuesday, Boston attorney Harry Manion said that he was recently involved in an incident involving quarterback Ben Roethlisberger that was very similar to the Georgia situation, from which Ben faces a possible suspension from the NFL.

“Six months ago I was retained by a client of mine and a close friend to investigate allegations against Ben Roethlisberger in a Las Vegas nightclub that were absolutely identical to this Georgia girl’s story. The outcome was that the young woman did not want to proceed, and we did not take any action. There is a history here---and I can’t say any further because we never proceeded with it---but there is a history here that is just super troubling.”

Damn right it’s super troubling! Manion goes on to say, “He has really walked a perilous line here. There’ a whole litany here, not only my experience, I have connected with several other people that have experience. And you know, there’s only so far that he said/she said will get you. There’s only so far that paying hush money will get you, if hush money is paid. And there’s only so far that, ‘Gee, we’re celebrities, we have a target on our back,’ will get you. When you see this much smoke, month after month and continuously...’ “

He makes a good point! How many more women’s lives will he have to ruin before we wake up and do something about it? Like Dr. Wecht stated, the NFL has to do something, even if it just suspend him for a few games and lay down the law. It looks bad on them, as well, to have this guy out there creating negative press not only for his team, but for the sport in general. He disgusts me.

John McIntire will be discussing this issue further on his Comcast on Demand show “The John McIntire Show” featuring comedienne Gab Bonesso and they will have a special segment “Jocks and Sex”, so check back to MacYapper to get those details!
