....Their Crime? Too Much Fun, Apparently!

A Chinese computer science professor, Ma Yaohai, 53, has been jailed for three and a half years for running a sex club; this marks the first time in 20 years someone has actually gotten in trouble for being involved in “group licentiousness.” He pleaded not guilty to holding orgies and is planning on appealing, states the official China News Service.

An Open Letter to Malawi:

Dear Malawi,

Not sure if you got the memo, but it is 2010. I just read on http://www.nytimes.com that a gay couple in Malawi was found guilty today of “unnatural acts and gross indecency”, AKA they are a gay couple that was celebrating their engagement in a country that would rather pretend that homosexuality doesn’t exist. Well, it does. They’re here, they’re queer, get used to it!

You’ve Heard of the G-spot…But What About the G-Shot?

So, I was reading up on the G-spot today, my favorite topic, when I came across this new procedure in where a doctor takes a 3 1/2 inch needle filled with collagen (what else?) and sticks it into the G-spot, also known as the Gräfenberg Spot, making it swell to the size of a quarter.

Reasons Why You Don’t “Trick” a Man into Having a Baby

Posted by Natalie on Fri, 14.05.10 at 11:47AM in Love Self Awareness Sexuality/Health

So, yesterday, I did a blog on a very disturbing situation about a man that pulled out his partner’s NuvaRing and removed his condom. His reasoning for doing so is still vague, but I thought it would only be fair to discuss when this situation is reversed and the woman is the one trying to trick her partner into getting her pregnant. So, here we go.

LITERALLY: HANDS OFF MY BIRTH CONROL!

Posted by Natalie on Thu, 13.05.10 at 02:08PM in Self Awareness Sexuality/Health

Can you imagine being in the middle of sex with a guy, who was wearing a condom, to finding out halfway through that said condom was on the floor, along with your NuvaRing birth control that he pulled out of your body? Go on, take it in for a minute.

Stop Asking Me! I’m Not Ready to Be a Mother!

So, I hit my mid-twenties and looked around. I noticed, wow, a lot of my friends and acquaintances are getting married and having babies. (Not necessarily in that order!) So, now, whenever I see these friends and acquaintances, the first thing out of their mouths is, “When are you going to settle down and have babies?”

Christian Activists Go After Female “Porn Addicts”

Posted by Natalie on Sat, 08.05.10 at 03:52PM in Self Awareness Sexuality/Health

Really? I mean, some women do enjoy porn just as much as their male counterparts, but addicts? Is this seriously something the Christian community is taking on as a pet cause? Little did I know that according to Theresa Flynt, VP of marketing for Hustler videos, female consumers make up of 56% of video sales. And, now with women having as much fun at the sex shop down the street as their male counterparts, the religious right has decided to step in a put an end to these naughty secret lives of women!

Oklahoma Doesn’t Believe in Women’s Rights

On Tuesday, April 27, Oklahoma’s State Legislature thought it would be fun to take away reproductive choice from women. They passed TWO abortion laws that had been previously vetoed by the governor for being unconstitutional. That silly thing known as the Constitution, however, isn’t getting in the way of the Republican majority in both the house and senate. They are hell bent on doing away with all reproductive choice, one bad bill at a time.

Posted by Natalie on Tue, 04.05.10 at 02:11PM in Love Self Awareness

Have you ever been in a relationship where you felt more like a parent than a partner? Where you had to take care of him, be the responsible one, take charge all the time? You may be guilty of dating boys, not men. Here are some signs that your boyfriend is just that, a boy.

I don’t know what is happening in our country lately, but when did it become acceptable to harass the gay population on a regular basis? I mean, seriously? First Constance McMillen can’t go to prom and wear a tux, and now, in Mississippi, another girl was left out of the yearbook for wearing a tux in her photo.

How Technology Has Ruined Our Ability to Communicate

Posted by Natalie on Thu, 29.04.10 at 09:04AM in Love Self Awareness

As I type this on my Mac, I hear my blackberry humming in the background, signaling that I have received email. I pick up the blackberry to look at email (that I could just as easily access on my Mac) and then I see I have a text message. I go to answer text message, momentarily ignoring email, and then my blackberry rings. I go to answer it, but then realize if I do, I won’t probably finish this blog, as I will get sidetracked. Overwhelmed, I respond to none of them. That’s right. I respond to none of them.
