...Study Finds One-Third Snoop on Lovers’ Email, Texts
www.msnbc.com did an eye-opening story today on how a large percentage of us are giving into the ‘strongest new temptation of the 21st century--the casual glance at a lover’s cell phone text message or email.’ Anyone out there guilty as charged?
I watched your public service announcement for www.thecandiesfoundation.org, which is website dedicated to preventing and educating the youth about teen pregnancy. I went to the site, looked through it, and discovered that this site promotes birth control, waiting until you are ready to have sex and everything that goes along with it, as well as snazzy celeb PSAs, such as yours.
But, there was something terribly wrong with your PSA. It didn’t make much sense. Which makes sense, considering the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree...if you know what I’m sayin’.

Follow Up on Constance McMillen...
I did a blog recently about a girl from Mississippi who wanted to dress in a tuxedo and bring her girlfriend to the prom. The school prom was shut down (with a private prom being held in its place) which led to a big media explosion across the country about this one brave girl’s fight for equality.
The Advocate interviewed Constance this week, and discovered that she was sent to a “fake prom” this weekend while the rest of the kids went to a “secret location” that had been organized by the parents.

...Because We Don’t Need to Take Responsibility for ANYTHING!
Breaking up is hard to do. Sometimes, we stay in bad relationships with people we don’t even like because the idea of confrontation is just too much for us. Well, fear not, my scared little minnons! There is a new service in town called http://www.IDUMP4U.com which outsources your break-up conversation! (Because, we don’t do anything for ourselves, we’re American! Yee-haw!)
Do you enjoy texting? How about sexting? Well, considering what has happened in the media lately, sexting is taking on a whole new dimension called “chexting”, cheating through texting. Chexting can lead to some serious trouble, including a golf club to your car window, or a moving van in front of your house. Since cell phone technology has become so accessible and easy to use, more and more people are finding themselves in divorce court because of those little hand held devices that make cheating so much easier.

....Man Marries Video Game Character
I think we have entered a world of no return. Back in November, Sal9000, a man with very special needs apparently, married his ideal woman. Why was she ideal for him? I’m guessing because he created her. She lives in a Nintendo DS video game, Love Plus. Her name is Nene Anegasaki and she doesn’t really exist (which explains her perfection).
