Girl Left Out of Yearbook for Being Gay…

Posted by Natalie on Fri, 30.04.10 at 10:39AM in Self Awareness Sexuality/Health

Original Video - More videos at TinyPic

I don’t know what is happening in our country lately, but when did it become acceptable to harass the gay population on a regular basis? I mean, seriously? First Constance McMillen can’t go to prom and wear a tux, and now, in Mississippi, another girl was left out of the yearbook for wearing a tux in her photo.

How Technology Has Ruined Our Ability to Communicate

Posted by Natalie on Thu, 29.04.10 at 09:04AM in Love Self Awareness

As I type this on my Mac, I hear my blackberry humming in the background, signaling that I have received email. I pick up the blackberry to look at email (that I could just as easily access on my Mac) and then I see I have a text message. I go to answer text message, momentarily ignoring email, and then my blackberry rings. I go to answer it, but then realize if I do, I won’t probably finish this blog, as I will get sidetracked. Overwhelmed, I respond to none of them. That’s right. I respond to none of them.

Sandra Bullock Files for Divorce AND Adopts Baby Boy!

Posted by Natalie on Wed, 28.04.10 at 08:50AM in Celeb relationships

Girlfriend wastes no time! Sandra is on the cover of PEOPLE magazine this week holding the new man in her life, a 3 1/2 month old little boy named Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born in New Orleans. Louis was to be adopted by both Bullock and Jesse James, a process that was 4 years in the making and they brought the baby home in January, but now that Bullock has washed that man right out of her hair, she will raise the child alone.

...How to Spot Them, and When to Leave...

We have all been in relationships, both good and bad. Some days, you wake up and the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and your lover is amazing. Other days? Not so much. But, even though we all have bad days, when it becomes habitual, it becomes unhealthy. Here are some signs of an unhealthy relationship and what you can do to remedy the situation.

5 Worst Pick Up Lines

Posted by Natalie on Mon, 26.04.10 at 01:06PM in Love

Pick up lines. Who thought these were a good idea? I know it is tough being a single guy out there. Women can be brutal. We ignore you, smirk at you, scare you, and taunt you when you are out with your friends. It takes a lot of courage to go up to a sexy girl at a bar or club and ask her for her number, or try to strike up a conversation. But, guys, please spare me and the rest of the women of the world but putting to rest these horrible pick up lines. And, we in return, won’t laugh in your face.

Abstinence Only Education Doesn’t Work…So Let’s Keep Funding It!

Posted by Natalie on Sat, 24.04.10 at 03:30PM in Sexuality/Health

Get this: Since 1992, the US government has spent almost $1 BILLION dollars (those are your tax dollars at work, ladies and gents) on ideologically-based abstinence-only sex education. What’s even more astounding is that comprehensive sex ed (you know the kind, where you actually get information on both abstinence and contraceptives and STDs) has received almost NO federal funding whatsoever. This situation has worked out great for MTV, though, allowing them to create such television masterpieces such as “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant”.

....Here Comes Attack of the Cleavage! Oh, the Horror!

In case anyone was wondering, the attack on the feminine in our universe is still alive and well, especially in the good ‘ol US of A! Apparently, if you are built like a 14 year-old boy, you can be in lingerie as much as you want during prime time TV. However, if you are built like a real woman, those curves are are considered dangerous and have been banned!

Mexico City, Mexico: 10 Year old Girl’s Pregnancy Lights Fire Under Abortion Debate

Posted by Natalie on Tue, 20.04.10 at 11:01AM in Sexuality/Health

I was reading http://www.cnn.com today when I came across this disturbing story. A little 10 year old girl was raped by her stepfather and became pregnant recently. The stepfather has been arrested, but the situation has fueled the abortion debate on both sides of the issue that has been raging in Mexico.

“This girl is much more than an isolated case,” said Adriana Ortiz-Ortega, a researcher at Mexico’s National Autonomous University. She has penned two books on Mexico and abortion. “There is much more influence now from conservative groups that are trying to prevent the legalization of abortion."

An Open Letter to the Pope

Posted by Natalie on Fri, 16.04.10 at 05:22PM in Sexuality/Health

Dear Pope Benedict,

You have a lot of drama in your life right now. Your church is under severe attack from the people over sex abuse allegations that involve children. Thousands of children. And you’re pissed about it. But, not for the right reasons. In fact, you are pissed off that people are bringing to light a new case where one priest was able to abuse 200 deaf children and nothing happened to him. Not only was he left unpunished for these heinous crimes against the most vulnerable in our society, but he was protected by the same church that preaches about abstinence before marriage and damns sinners to hell.

The Celebrity Break-Up Awards!

Posted by Natalie on Thu, 15.04.10 at 09:33AM in Celeb relationships Love

Why do celebs even bother getting together? In this modern dating landscape, it seems to me that we have too many options and that “commitment” is a dirty word. Let’s review and award some of the surprising and (not-so surprising break-ups) happening this week! And, the winners are....

Ben Roethlisberger Walks Free AGAIN…

Posted by Natalie on Wed, 14.04.10 at 12:22PM in Celeb relationships

...College Girls Everywhere Continue Hiding!

My friend, comdian John McIntire, just posted an interview he did with Dr. Cyril Wecht on his website: http://www.macyapper.blogspot.com/ concerning the latest sexual assault case brought against Roethlisberger by a young woman from Atlanta, Georgia that has been dropped, this time due to ‘insufficient evidence.’ I say “this time” because this guy has been in trouble before for sexual assault allegations brought against him by women.

Steven Seagal…Action Star…

Posted by Natalie on Tue, 13.04.10 at 02:53PM in Celeb relationships

...And Sex Trafficker?

Apparently, Steven Seagal has had a one MILLION dollar lawsuit filed against him by a young woman who was claims she was sexually harassed and assaulted by the aging film star. I use the term “film star” loosely.

23 year old, Jayden Nguyen, was hired as Seagal’s “executive assistant” last February, and assumed her job would be filing papers, answering phones, you know, secretary stuff. Well, when Nguyen showed up for her first day at work, she was told that pleasuring Seagal was to be her number one duty behind the desk.

We Have a Pill for Everything…

...Why Not for Men Who Want to “Last Longer” Between the Sheets?

We have all encountered this situation at one point or another. You are in bed with your lover, just warming up, and oops! It’s over before it began! You don’t want to show your annoyance or your disappointment because you don’t want to hurt his feelings, but geez! Couldn’t he have held on just a little longer?
